The Sacred Bee Film Series artwork features, on the mirrored wall gallery, in the inside of the Bee Shop store, 14 pieces of hexagonally framed artwork that were specially commisoned for The Sacred Bee film series that gently unites the world’s major spiritual traditons through the paradigm of the honeybees.

What do the honeybees do? They extract the essence from each flower. In a like manner the film visits each major faith and takes the essential from it.. its qualities and virtues.

How do we know what these hallmark qualities and virtues are? Whatever was said about the bees or their products of the hive, is like a mirror that reflects that faith's essential qualities and virtues. 

This all Canadian, unique artwork, is a collaboration between urban beekeeper Oliver Couto (conceptual vision) and Slavka Kolesar illustrations.
